S2E1 – Bloody Concrete
A property developer who shaped Barcelona through gentrification is found bludgeoned to death on his own building site – leaving behind a long list of enemies. The investigation quickly leads Xavi and Fina into personal conflicts: Xavi struggles with his loyalty to an old friend who lost his home because of the victim, whilst Fina has her sights set on an ex-lover, of all people. As if that weren’t enough, Fina’s daughter María is also directly involved in the case through her boyfriend.
S2E2 – Kidnapped Girls
A traumatised, mute girl leads Xavi Bonet to an abandoned building site – and to the burnt remains of two children. The investigation into an apparently deranged serial offender who abducts young girls spirals out of control when a doctor with a criminal record comes under suspicion and a media witch-hunt is unleashed. When another girl disappears, Xavi and Fina themselves become the hunted.
