S3E1 – Old Wounds
Dr Nice is back! Risen from the dead. But his ordeal has left its mark, and everyone doubts whether Nice is capable of working as a doctor again.
Nice must learn to cope with the trauma – a trauma he believes he doesn’t even have. However, his rude behaviour towards those around him tells a different story. That doesn’t stop Nice from taking on a difficult medical case, though.
S3E2 – Soft Knees
Dr Moritz Neiss is back to his daily routine. The practice is running smoothly, as is his department at the hospital. But Dr Schmidtke sees things differently and forces him to undergo psychiatric treatment.
Schmidtke believes that Neiss needs help to process what he has been through. Otherwise, he threatens to expel him from the GP scheme and report him to the hospital board. Even though Nice sees this as harassment, he has no choice but to bow to Schmidtke’s demands.
S3E3 – Flaming Hearts
Of all places, a fire breaks out at the fire brigade festival and Captain Lüders is seriously injured. Fortunately, Dr Neiss is on the scene and can administer first aid, but at the hospital he has to clash with Dr Schmidtke. Burns and transplants are, after all, Neiss’s speciality. When Lüders also learns that his wife is cheating on him, the situation escalates in more ways than one.
S3E4 – Nature of Love
Head of the clinic Klinger is concerned about the atmosphere and sends Nice and Schmidtke off to the woods for a team-building exercise with their partners. Nice persuades Charlie to come along without revealing what it’s all about. Once there, they meet Schmidtke, his wife Jana and nature educator Deniz, Dr Birol’s brother. It turns out that Deniz doesn’t know his sister works as a senior consultant under Schmidtke. In fact, there is a complete lack of communication between the two.
S3E5 – My Favourite Enemy
Dr Nice is unexpectedly appointed chief physician after Dr Schmidtke is suspended for alleged medical malpractice and missing medication. Nice relishes his new power, but quickly realises that being head of department means more stress than glamour. So he helps Schmidtke’s wife Jana to save his friend’s reputation. Meanwhile, Charlie is offered the chance to run the new wellness area at her family’s hotel.
S3E6 – Night of Wishes
Dr Nice is called to a emergency birth at farmer Harry Björnsen’s farm. But the patient is not the heavily pregnant farmer’s wife Thekla, but Björnsen’s best cow in the barn. At the same time, Nice learns that Charlie and his daughter Lea want to leave him for six months to work at the family hotel. Shortly afterwards, Thekla collapses with a seizure and her condition deteriorates rapidly in hospital.
