Following her husband’s death, Ella Schoen inherits not only a house on Fischland along with debts, but also Christina and her children, who live in that house. With her abandoned legal traineeship under her belt, Ella joins Kollkamp’s law firm and from then on takes care of the problems of the people of Fischland. When the pregnant cook Josi is fired, Christina brings Ella into the picture. Ella delves into the case and uncovers inconsistencies regarding the timing of the pregnancy.
