The two most important things in the lives of Karl and his thirteen year old daughter Nic are each other and ice-hockey! When he isn’t successfully coaching his professional league team to victory, Karl is busy coaching the school team where Nic is the star player.
But their comfortable world is turned upside down when an accident leaves a gaping hole in the wall between their flat and the flat of their new neighbour, Sonja.
Suddenly the trio find themselves unlikely flatmates, even though the stylish and attractive editorial director Sonja couldn’t be more different from the sports-obsessed father and daughter team. Much to Karl’s dismay, Nic soon finds in Sonja the female role-model that has been missing from her life since her mother passed away; but the big question is, what will Karl and Sonja see in each other?
